Job Description

This security architect role requires a highly experienced professional with over 6 years in the field.

Your day-to-day would involve leveraging your broad security knowledge (networking, IAM, cryptography, asset management) to proactively assess security risks across all company projects, from the very beginning.

You'd conduct in-depth security reviews of everything from HR practices to new building construction, partnering with business units to ensure all potential threats are identified and addressed.

Utilizing threat modeling methodologies like STRIDE and tools like Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool would be a regular part of your day.

Most of your time would be dedicated to security reviews, ensuring adherence to existing company standards, identifying any gaps in those standards, and even creating new ones where necessary.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $60-75/hr

Skills and Requirements


5+ years' experience in information security, with a focus on diverse security domains including network security, IAM, crypto, and asset management.

Experience conducting meticulous security reviews across various areas (HR, IT, physical security) to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate controls.

Strong understanding and application of threat modeling methodologies, with emphasis on STRIDE

Practical knowledge of any combination of Payment Card Industry (PCI), GDPR, NIST standards, or ISO27000 series


Proficiency in utilizing threat modeling tools like Microsoft Threat Modeling Tool (TMT) or similar platforms to generate comprehensive security reports.

Ability to identify gaps in existing security review standards and actively contribute to their improvement or creation if non-existent.

Skill in managing and resolving discrepancies within security standards. null
