**Essential Functions**

Purchase direct and indirect materials for production and customer orders.

Complete supplier returns and recover associated costs.

Maintain supplier/costing data base.

Maintain purchase orders and parts data within ERP System.

Negotiate cost savings to drive purchase price variance (PPV).

Request quotes when necessary.

Supplier evaluations and score carding for use in strategic evaluation.

Building supply base category strategies.

Monitoring open purchase orders and expediting when appropriate.

Proactively participates in continuous improvement (CBS: Lean Systems).

Tracking and Reporting KPI.

Document in the Conax Technologies Wiki.

Exemplify core values of integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer service, and teamwork.

**Education and Experience**

Associate degree required, bachelors degree preferred; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Production scheduling experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment is desired.

Must have prior experience using various business system software.
