Summary:

Manage procurement activities for raw materials, equipment, and services. Ensure inventory levels, cost controls, quality, and timely deliveries align with company needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate MRP reports and schedule raw material deliveries.
  • Approve suppliers, maintain quality file systems, and manage defective materials.
  • Seek cost-effective supply sources and handle special orders.
  • Manage customer orders, logistics, and inventory to optimize efficiency and avoid obsolescence.
  • Analyze savings opportunities and prepare reports for process improvements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and travel to suppliers as needed.
  • Direct clerical support or make decisions in a manager’s absence.


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficient in MRP, ISO standards, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA, FAA, ISO regulations, and medical device manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to apply algebra and geometry for calculations.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
