UPS is seeking a dynamic Compliance & Ethics Supervisor to help support the mitigation of noncompliant and illegal shipments in the UPS network. This position utilizes analytics to identify and investigate shippers of potential noncompliant packages. This position has extensive contacts with all levels of management in the department and other functions/departments internally, requiring a high level of professionalism. Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and utilize data to identify potential noncompliant activity
- Complete investigations and take necessary actions with shippers of noncompliant items
- Provide reporting of compliance activities to key stakeholders
- Continuously evolve the compliance program to match the changing landscape of noncompliance
- Highly detail oriented
- Ability to gather and research information, and select relevant data from a variety of sources
- Consistently exhibits professional demeanor
- Demonstrates organizational, communication and analytical skills
- Ability to manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle a variety of confidential information with a high degree of independent judgment, accuracy, and timeliness
- Previous experience working with data using applications such as Data Warehouse, SQL, Google Cloud Platform, DIAD Information Repository, etc. - Preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
- Employer will not sponsor a visa for this or future positions
- Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself
