Are you ready to take on the role of a Lead Consultant (Electrical) at WSP USA's Property & Buildings' Team in Los Angeles, CA? Here's what you'll be diving into:
  • Advanced knowledge of technical expertise for mid-size projects.
  • Design electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Apply high-level engineering techniques to identify improvements in various project phases.
  • Review electrical calculations, plans, specifications, and safety measures.
  • Supervise junior staff, collaborate on projects, and maintain client relationships.
  • Responsible and ethical decision-making, staying current with industry practices.
If you're up for the challenge, here's what we're looking for:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems design and relevant codes.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles, practices, and design software.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record in workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • LEED Certification.
  • Experience in healthcare projects.
  • Knowledge of EnergyPRO.
