Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Systems Engineer to contribute to our engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in PCI, bus architectures, FPGA/CPLD programmable logic, Xilinx, Altera, digital design, military specifications, space programs, debugging, and analog design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop intricate electrical systems, encompassing both hardware and software components
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with product specifications
  • Conduct research and development initiatives to enhance existing products and innovate new technologies
  • Create and maintain schematics, printed wiring board (PWB) layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulations to validate product performance and reliability
  • Execute debugging and troubleshooting of sophisticated electrical systems
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, testing plans, and reports
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally within the engineering sector
  • Profound knowledge of PCI, bus architectures, PCIe, VME, Actel FPGA, CPLD, and FPGA/CPLD programmable logic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if necessary
