Donor Relations Coordinator

Our Company - Making a Difference:
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Division and collaborating with vendors to enhance donor relationships, cultivate donors, and manage gifts for Mid-level Donors. The main objective is to boost the number of Major Gift Donor prospects and income within the geographic area covering San Fransisco and Silicon Valley through Monterey County.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Foster and maintain strong bonds between donors within your caseload and The Salvation Army (TSA) by keeping them informed through various means like program updates, calls, emails, and tokens of appreciation Prepare donor acknowledgments along with receipts Reach out to donors for expressing gratitude Share insights about local programs and their outcomes with donors Develop and nurture donor relationships with TSA Address donor queries promptly Introduce new donors with welcome kits Extend invitations to donors for exclusive events and tours Maintain accurate donor records in the database Record important donor information acquired from conversations and research Generate monthly reports on donation patterns to track progress in terms of upgrades, conversions, and retention rates Identify potential Major Gift donors and refer them to Donor Relation Directors Perform any other relevant duties as neededREQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent (compulsory) Bachelor's degree (desirable) Proficiency in data entry Background in marketing Customer service experience Familiarity with Microsoft programsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. (primarily file boxes)TOOLS UTILIZED:
