Responsibilities:

  • Identify, apprehend, and lawfully deal with individuals engaging in retail theft following state laws related to arrest, search and seizure, use of force, and all other relevant governmental regulations concerning loss prevention activities.
  • Adopt a standard customer appearance and behavior within the store to avoid being identified as an employee.
  • Maintain vigilance of surroundings to execute duties in a safe and professional manner.
  • Produce coherent, readable, and accurate reports.
  • Present in court or before governmental entities providing clear, concise, and accurate verbal testimony in administrative or judicial proceedings.
  • Coordinate tasks effectively and collaborate proficiently with store staff and law enforcement.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding surveillance and apprehension of suspected shoplifters.
  • Frequent travel to neighboring regions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to engage positively with store and business office staff.
  • Ability to interact effectively with law enforcement.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in producing coherent, readable, and structured reports in English.
  • Maintain composure in challenging circumstances.
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations related to loss prevention.
  • Willingness to travel to nearby areas.

Schedule:

Bi-Mart stores operate from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Friday and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekends.

Working hours may fluctuate depending on workload and assignments.
