Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Police Officer - Entry Level. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws and maintaining order in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence
  • Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect crime
  • Interact with the public and provide information and assistance
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and resources
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 90 college credit hours or relevant work experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet city driving standards
  • Must be a US citizen or nonimmigrant legally admitted to the US under a Compact of Free Association
  • Able to pass background and reference check, drug screen, medical and psychological evaluation
  • Able to pass written exam, physical agility test, and run a mile under nine minutes
  • Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
