Job SummaryThe Assistant Catering Operations Manager will provide the primary support to ensure ideal work flow under the guidance of the Catering Director and Operations Manager.
Supports directly the Operations manager in leading all aspects of event set-ups and directing any temporary personnel. You will ensure proper service during events including proper set-up, cleaning and breakdown procedures.Work schedule is flexible based upon the event schedule and needs of the business, but primary schedule is for managing the afternoon & evening events, and closing the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises assigned catering events under direction of Operations Manager and Catering DirectorInvolved in catering events operations, including logistics, sanitation and facility-related activitiesTracks and monitors labor for each eventHelps staff set up rooms to desire specificationsAssembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to event locationsMaintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils, ensures work areas meet standardsReturns unused food and beverage to catering facilityPerforms other duties as assigned
