The Modeling and Simulation Department is seeking a *Senior Systems Engineer* to perform the role of *Lead Simulation Engineer* for the Target Detection Device (TDD) which is part of the Standard Missile 6 Block IA, IAU, IB and SBT program.

*This is an Onsite role in Tucson, Arizona**What You will Do*:

  • You will brief both internal and external customers on changes to the TDD model
  • You will work with the signal processing team to model TDD hardware and environments
  • You will work with the software teams to model software for the TDD
  • You will work with the simulation teams to conduct design and performance evaluation studies
  • You will coordinate with multiple programs on product needs
  • You will be responsible for Simulation Model Verification and Validation processes
  • You will implement Simulation Model Accreditation processes
*Qualifications You Must Have*:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and five (5) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
  • Earned Value Metrics
  • Agile design and planning
  • Radio Frequency (RF) systems
  • Software simulation principles
  • Matlab, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
*Qualifications We Prefer*:

  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
  • Experience with Unix and/or Linux operating systems
  • Experience using Fortran
  • Experience creating lethality models
  • Earned Value Certification
  • Experience working independently
  • Experience briefing work status to multiple customers
  • Experience using scripting languages such as Python

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
