Job Summary

Under the supervision of the SELPA, ASRD Program Coordinator, provides consultation and technical assistance to preschool through transition age students impacted by autism spectrum disorders. This position will assist in providing coordination, consultation and program development in the area of autism spectrum disorders. The East San Gabriel Valley SELPA consists of 15 LEAs; this position will be responsible for assuring that pupils have full educational opportunity regardless of the district of residence.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Any combination equivalent to:
1. Five years of successful certificated public education experience; minimum of 3 years experience with students with autism spectrum disorders.
2. Experience in providing support/training to teachers, administrators, staff, and parents.
3. Demonstrate consultation and leadership skills
4. Possession of a valid California driver's license and vehicle insurance.
5. School Psychologist credential preferred.
