Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Health Advocates Network, Inc. as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, relevant licensure, and a passion for helping students with communication disorders, speech delays, or language impairments.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities and identify communication disorders or delays.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals for students based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional needs.
  • Monitor student progress, document therapy sessions, and communicate with stakeholders about students' goals and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children with a variety of communication disorders and needs.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for speech and language therapy.
