EXPECTATIONS:

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The main role of the Associate Property Manager is to provide assistance in the daily on-site operations at the apartment community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process new applications, re-certifications, and liaise with compliance department.
  • Conduct apartment viewings for potential residents.
  • Negotiate and manage lease agreements.
  • Support the property manager in supervising leasing and maintenance teams.
  • Participate in marketing and leasing efforts when required.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Assist in rent collection, financial records, and maintaining community standards.
  • Provide necessary information to regional supervisors and credit agencies.
  • Handle resident relations and enforce community rules.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Language, math, reasoning, and basic computer skills

TRAINING:
  • Participate in annual fair housing, section 42, and leasing training sessions.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Occasional need to lift up to 25 pounds, kneel, and bend.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and reaching.
  • Regular sitting, talking, and hearing.
  • Visual acuity for close and distance tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Typically operates in a moderately noisy environment.
