About the Role

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Property Accountant to join our team. As a Property Accountant, you will play a critical role in assisting with general accounting month-end closing procedures for a development project.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with general accounting month-end closing procedures for a development project, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and review expense reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Review and analyze general ledger accounts and profit and loss statements to prepare accruals or reclassifications, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Review and finalize monthly and quarterly reporting, annual operating, and capital budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the property management or construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Collaborative and team player with excellent communication skills.
