CUSTOMER CARE COORDINATOR

The Customer Care Coordinator plays a vital role in our patients' experience team. Responsible for welcoming patients and visitors, ensuring compliance with building access regulations set by the state of Virginia Board of Pharmacy. Also, badging visitors, verifying patients' medical card documents, and providing support with document scanning, form filling, and utilizing express patient ordering on iPads. Completing patient transactions, ensuring a pleasant checkout process, and consistently delivering an exceptional patient experience are key aspects of this role.

Additionally, this Customer Care Coordinator will assist with various office tasks, including answering calls, redirecting them to the appropriate staff, and handling packages to support our dispensary's operations effectively.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Managing the entry and exit flow at the Dispensary, escorting patients as needed.
  • Engaging with customers to offer assistance and resolve inquiries.
  • Ensuring patients have the required documentation for medical cannabis transactions.
  • Recording sales and handling cash transactions.
  • Stocking work areas and coordinating express mail services.
  • Assisting with clerical tasks and maintaining store equipment.
  • Upholding legal and safety standards applicable to the industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Education or GED; Associates Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative experience; 4 years related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Experience with POS and iPad/iOS systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Performing computer tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Handling objects up to 50 pounds and engaging in physical movements.
