Opportunity:


The Vice President role encompasses a wide range of activity in support of the public markets investment team, evaluating hedge funds, public equity and fixed income managers.

The Vice President will work across all aspects of the investment process, including managing deal flow, conducting due diligence, and monitoring the portfolio.

The role requires performing detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, drafting investment memoranda, and presenting to the investment committee.

The position will be based in the Bay Area, the firm is currently working 3 days in the office, 2 days working remotely.


Responsibilities:
Sourcing and managing deal flow, screening new investment managers
Performing detailed quantitative analysis of funds
Conducting in-depth due diligence on investment managers
Monitoring existing investments across various asset classes
Drafting investment memoranda and financial analyses, presenting recommendations to the Investment Committee
Conducting market research

Qualifications:
Four to eight years of relevant professional experience
Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier school, with a strong preference for candidates with advanced degrees
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and the ability to make well-reasoned recommendations
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Highly ethical and trustworthy
Passion for investing, intellectual curiosity
Self-starter capable of taking initiative, but who is also willing to receive guidance and direction
Excellent interpersonal skills, including the desire and ability to interact with general partners, clients and external parties
