  • Where you come in:
  • We're seeking an Associate Director, Social Strategy to join VML's large and growing social team. You're a curious, culturally-fluent strategist who loves to question assumptions and challenge the status quo. You'll make decisions and craft the vision for a brand's overall approach to social.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the creation of social strategies, social playbooks, activations and campaign ideas
  • Direct and synthesize research, social listening and other data to guide a brand's strategic decisions
  • Partner with creative, strategy, data and media teams to define and achieve a brand's social marketing goals
  • Coach and mentor junior team members
Skills and Experience
  • 6+ years of social marketing experience
  • Experience managing one or more direct reports
  • Advanced understanding of social platforms, audiences and behaviors, and the ability to develop a clear point-of-view based on that knowledge
  • Ability to apply knowledge of social media to effectively address a brand's goals and needs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in a wide variety of formats and settings
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across different departments, teams and individuals
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000 . Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
