Role Description:

Arcadis seeks an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer to join their Power Delivery team. You'll work on projects in locations such as Houston, TX; Raleigh or Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; any part of FL; or Columbus, OH. The Power Delivery group collaborates with clients to create comprehensive project plans, incorporating various aspects to enhance communities and quality of life.


Role Accountabilities:

As the successful candidate, you will:

  • Support the development and delivery of substation electrical packages for projects
  • Work under the mentorship of senior engineers and designers
  • Prepare substation electrical packages including Station One Lines, General Arrangement, Grounding, Lightning Plans, and more
  • Contribute to Engineering Calculations, Equipment Specifications, and Bid evaluations
  • Coordinate with other Arcadis Business Units for potential opportunities

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills to join us. Collaboration and effective communication are key aspects of this role.

Travel may be required, up to 25% to client sites and meetings within North America and potentially internationally.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 0-1 year of Substation engineering experience
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as NEC, NESC, and IEEE
