About the Aegis Combat System:
All components of the Aegis system, from missile launching to radar, are fully integrated to provide comprehensive defense against air and surface threats.

This groundbreaking design makes Aegis the first fully integrated combat system developed to counter advanced threats.

THE ROLE

  • Deliver Earned Value Management (EVM) support for the Aegis System Equipped Vessel (ASEV) Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contract.
  • Lead monthly business reporting for contract EVM.
  • Guide ASEV DCS Control Account Managers (CAM) and ensure adherence to CAM checklist for regular activities.
  • Verify timeliness and accuracy of all CAM inputs (status, VARs, and other data). Oversee DDM metric tracking and statusing.
  • Coordinate EAC activities including CEACs, and ensure accurate ETC estimates from CAMs.
  • Assist with baselining activities such as baseline change requests (BCR) and reviews. Validate Quality Backup Data (QBD) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Evaluate variances (VAR) and EAC justifications for proper analysis and input accuracy before Program VAR and EAC Reviews.
  • Support contract EVM reporting requirements. Collaborate with the PPM team for PPM and EV compliance support.
This position reports to the ASEV CSEA PM, FMS Deputy PM.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated involvement in a Program Management team/PMO.
  • Hands-on experience with monthly program management routines and necessary coordination with functional units for variance reporting, program updates, and deliverables.
  • Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and reporting program and technical data.
  • Expertise in Earned Value Management and/or certified as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Attention to detail, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into a team-focused environment.
  • Capability to secure and uphold a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance desirable
  • Experience as a CAM across various contracts, programs, or accounts
  • Involvement in EV compliance activities (e.g., audits, reviews)
  • Background in cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with EVM processes at a program level
Security Clearance Statement: This role mandates a government security clearance; US Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Remote Telework:

The chosen employee will telework for part of the week and work on-site at a designated Lockheed Martin facility for the rest.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin offers a range of flexible work schedules to provide additional options for our staff. These schedules vary from the standard 40 hours over five days to condensed schedules, offering extra time off in addition to our paid time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour shifts, 3 days off per week
