Job DescriptionJob DescriptionKable Staffing is in urgent need of a Line Helper in Loveland, OH. This position is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity. ROLE RUNDOWNRESPONSIBILITIESThese duties and responsibilities are guidelines and not absolute and not limited to these general duties. Please see you supervisor for guidance on all responsibilities that may be needed during your shift. Comply with all Safety Rules and Procedures. REQUIREMENTSMust be 18 years of age.SAFETYMust be able to stand and walk as well as 1 or more of the following: grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, twist, squat, kneel, and balance the whole shift - up to 12 hours. Lift cartons above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level. Wear steel-toe boots or shoes, safety glasses, and gloves. FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The point operator had the authority to stop production if there is unsafe condition or a problem with quality that is not rectified in an expedient fashion.
  • The Point Operator has the responsibility to notify the Roll Hanger or QC person of production and quality problems that do not meet standards Perform a full range of production-related
  • Load product on the pallet per customer specifications
  • Conduct quality control checks for leg length, leg size, caliper, correct piece counts and any other needed checks as specified on the Line sheet. The QC sheet must be filled out minimum over other row on each order
  • Strap Pallet as designed per work instruction
  • Dispose of scrap
  • Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training
  • Comply with all safety, hazardous material, and OSHA training, rules, and reporting, ensuring a safe work environment
REQUIREMENTS
  • 18 years old
  • Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Possess independent and reliable transportation
  • Ability to frequently lift cartons above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level
  • Lift up to 50+ lbs. consistently
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Work in a repetitive environment that includes 1 or more of the following for up to 12 hours: grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel, twist, or balance
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Maintain flexibility regarding job assignments including working scheduled hours, location changes (QA Inspectors go to the parts they are inspecting), or mandatory overtime
  • Pass a background check and drug test
  • Wear steel-toes
