The SLT provides clerical support for Workers' Compensation Judges including the preparation and service of orders, correspondence, reports, decisions and awards. This includes reserving and completing tasks within the Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) involving the processing of both incoming and outgoing documents. The SLT also assists the WCJ in maintaining EAMS records and assisting parties and the public with inquiries.

Working Conditions

This position is located at:

160 Promenade Circle, Suite 300
Sacramento, CA

The employee works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Daily access to and use of a personal computer, keyboard, telephone, fax and other office equipment are essential. Employee is required to attend meetings in designated conference rooms and be willing to travel for off-site trainings, work in a team environment and independently.

Special Requirements

The position(s) require(s) a(n) Typing Test Certificate. You will be required to provide a copy of your certificate prior to being hired.

Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. Typing Certificate of 45 words per minute, ability to read and write English at a level required for successful job performance, establish and maintain effective working relationships, communicate effectively, follow directions, analyze situations and take effective action using good judgment in decision making, manage time and resources effectively and be responsive to management needs.
