Job Description and Duties:
  • Represent the Department of Industrial Relations in combating workers' compensation fraud and protecting injured workers
  • Handle civil and writ litigation, anti-fraud matters, and legislative analysis
  • Provide legal services on various issues within the Department's operation

There is only one position available in either Sacramento or Oakland. Interested candidates should submit separate applications for each location.

Working Conditions:

This full-time position is based at the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Director Legal Unit in Sacramento. Attorneys work in an office environment, handle their own word processing and primarily work on computers for tasks such as drafting documents and conducting research. Some in-state travel may be required based on assignments.
