STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Full time, direct fill role
Salary: $70-80K

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
  • Post journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare, analyze and report contribution margin by customer and product
  • Identify variances by customer, product and department
  • Identify areas for improvement in cost accounting system to ensure accurate cost data
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Resolve variances and adjust Bill of Materials and process routings as necessary
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
  • Bachelors degree in accounting
  • 3+ years accounting experience in a manufacturing setting, including some cost accounting experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills
