OPS FISCAL ASSISTANT II at Florida Department of Health Broward County

  • This position is for an OPS Fiscal Assistant II within the Department of Health.
  • Location: Broward County, Florida
  • Pay Plan: Temporary
  • Salary: $19.00 per hour
  • No paid time off is offered for OPS positions, but health benefits are available for full-time employees.
  • Responsibilities include claims denial, appeals, collections, billing audit, quality assurance, payment posting, and assisting in training data entry processes.
  • Minimum qualifications include data entry experience, customer service experience, and experience in medical/dental insurance eligibility.
  • Preferred qualifications include health insurance claims processing experience and certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC).
