We/Hirewell are excited to partner with a growing, mission-driven food service organization with a diverse portfolio of services to launch the search for a newly created District Manager position to join the team in Dupage, Illinois.
This newly created role is crucial for bringing the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) up to speed across the district schools. The District Manager will be responsible for managing payroll, overseeing hiring and firing, and handling all day-to-day operations. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work independently without the need for constant supervision.
In this role, the District Manager will support a team of 20 non-union employees and have one direct report. The primary focus will be on ensuring smooth daily operations, fostering team building, and effectively implementing the NSLP program.
This position requires daily travel within Dupage, driving approximately 4-5 miles each day to visit various schools and oversee operations. The role is 100% on-site, ensuring hands-on management and direct engagement with the team and school operations.
