Position Title: Field/Greenhouse Worker

Location: Nampa, ID

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration:12+ Months with possible extension.

Job Type: ONSITE
Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm

Pay Range: $16-18/HR

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

We need a helper to water alfalfa plants:
Monday- Friday.
1. Water in Greenhouse, outside and Field test plots.
2. Field plot watering.
May be asked to do the following:
Field activities:

  • Hoeing
  • Gopher control
  • Grinding alfalfa samples
  • Greenhouse activities
  • Upkeep of greenhouse and station as needed.
  • Plant maintenance: staking
  • Plant pollinations, seeding, potting
  • Threshing

High School diploma or GED required would prefer College GradEnvironment: Qualified candidates must be able to:Work outdoors and in greenhouses; able to lift up to 30lbs; will need to stand or sit for long periods of time; often work in a dusty, dirty, wet and/or dry conditions; repetitive work is done at all times.
