About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Glendive Medical Center. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide therapeutic services to patients in a mental health clinic and/or inpatient psychiatric facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to diagnose and treat patients with severe and persistent mental illnesses.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' unique needs and goals.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, and to provide consultation and education to patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Participate in staff conferences and training sessions to stay current on best practices and to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Montana.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
