Staff Accountant Consultant
Location:
Washington DC
Pay:
$28-35/hour depending on experience
Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
Assist with processing AP and AR invoices
Verify invoices and ensure payments are made on time to vendors
Reconcile bank accounts and review discrepancies in invoices
Submit journal entries to manager to be posted to GL
Assist with ad hoc payroll and billing needs
Run reports in Oracle
Work with Senior Accountant through month-end close and review purchase orders
Confirm wire transfers and ACH payments get posted promptly
Staff Accountant Requirements:
3+ years' prior AP/AR experience
Completed Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting (or related field)
Software experience with large ERP system (such as Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) a plus
