REPORTS TO (Title): Assistant General Manager

DEPARTMENT: Restaurant Operations

STATUS CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

SUPERVISES: No formal supervisory responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:
  • Provides additional support to the Restaurant Management Team
  • Assists with management duties during peak periods or Manager absence
  • Can work other restaurant positions as needed
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Corrects and coaches performance during shifts
  • Conducts pre and post-shift meetings
  • Assists with team member interviewing, training, and development
  • Engages actively with all Guests
  • Supports proper execution of Guest Experience and service standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, and safety procedures
  • Good people management, communication, and listening skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Passionate about teaching and development
JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age for alcohol service
  • Food handlers and alcohol certifications

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
