Job Summary

The Cleanliness Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and sanitation of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize high-traffic areas, including restrooms, locker rooms, and fitness equipment.
  • Restock locker rooms with essential supplies and paper products.
  • Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment to the Facility Manager.
  • Implement the Lost and Found Policy and turn in lost member property to the Facility Manager/Assistant Facility Manager immediately.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance is preferred.
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including third shift.
  • Strong work ethic and honesty.
  • Ability to solve problems independently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

  • Continual standing and walking during shift.
  • Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching during shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials.
