Team Work Work as a member of Counseling Services to:

Develop and contribute to successful, relationally rich, community environment in client programsEnsure appropriate and therapeutically informed care to facilitate client growth and healingParticipate in systems of client outcome data captureProactively assist as necessary in the overall success of the Mission Direct Work Provide an agreed upon minimum of direct client hours per week of individual, family, couples counseling or case management.

Carry a caseload with a minimum of 15 clients as assigned by supervisor.
Lead 1-2 workshops or groups per week as assigned by supervisor.
Maintain client record-keeping systems in keeping with ethical best-practices, including measurable treatment outcome records.
Maintain best practices for relationally driven counseling in a Christian ministry environment.
Coordinate services as necessary and beneficial with all Rescue Mission client program departments and outside agencies.
Promote safety and security of Mission programs and facilities.
Attend meetings within the Mission and represent the Mission at meetings within the community.
Participate in regular supervision and consult with Counseling Team.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Working ConditionsVaried. Some office work and some travel required between locations.

May be required to be outdoors in inclement weather and/or work irregular hours in order to properly lead and supervise certain client programs.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Counseling or related field
  • LMHC or LMHCA or equivalent credential in Washington state
  • Licensed Social Work Associate Independent Clinical
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
  • Additional training in trauma-informed care and trauma-specific approaches
  • Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Basic math and grammar skills
  • Demonstrated success making independent decisions and taking actions showing good judgment
  • Ability to prevent or resolve conflict with grace and accountability
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, inspiring trust and speaking truth
  • WA Driver License, good driving record, proof of insuranceSchedule and
