  • General Description: Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) is looking for qualified individuals to join their faculty team and contribute to the mission and vision of one of the largest higher education institutions in Virginia. The faculty positions available for the academic year require providing top-notch instruction. NOVA faculty members are expected to excel in teaching methods that actively engage students in different learning environments and activities to help them reach their full potential. Flexibility in teaching schedules across various campus locations is essential.
  • Duties and Tasks: Full-time teaching faculty are responsible for conducting courses through different formats and maintaining active involvement in academic and organizational activities. They carry a normal teaching load per semester and are involved in advising, committee participation, curriculum development, and staying updated in their field of expertise.
  • Essential Functions: NOVA faculty must fulfill teaching responsibilities, maintain records, conduct student conferences, and support program development while upholding professional ethics and responding to student queries promptly. They are required to stay current in their field and provide guidance to students.
  • Employees must reside in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia to be eligible.

Minimum Qualifications:
