Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychiatric diagnostic assessments and medication management following professional standards
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in clinical meetings
  • Provide supervision to medical students and professionals

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Prior experience in managing psychiatric clients and treatments
  • Ability to offer psychiatric care independently
  • Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using Electronic Health Records
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and best practices
  • Empathy towards client needs

Education/Licensing Requirements:

  • Medical degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in Adult Psychiatry, Child Psychiatry, or Geriatric Psychiatry
  • Board certification in Psychiatry preferred
  • Federal DEA license
  • Active State of Minnesota medical license
  • Credentialing with insurance
