About the RoleAs a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on our inpatient team, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality patient care and achieve our mission to advance medicine.
Responsibilities- Practice at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN
- Work with a collaborative team of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, PMHNPs, Psychiatric RNs, Pediatric Medicine Hospitalists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide inpatient care to children and adolescents aged 5-18
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship training program
- Board Certified/Board Eligible with the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Minnesota
