Event Coordinator

Responsibilities:

-
Sourcing Vendors: Identify and secure vendors that align with event themes and goals, including food and beverage providers, entertainment, and specialty vendors.
-
Sourcing Venues: Research and secure suitable venues for various events, ensuring they meet logístical and budgetary requirements.

Vendor and Venue Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all vendors and venues, managing contracts, logistics, and any issues that arise.
-
Sourcing Sponsors: Identify potential sponsors and develop proposals to secure sponsorships, maintaining relationships with sponsors to ensure ongoing support.

Event Planning: Assist in the development of event concepts, themes, and schedules, coordinating with other team members to ensure all event aspects are covered.
-
Logistics Management: Oversee event setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring all logístical details are handled efficiently.
-
Budget Management: Assist in managing event budgets, ensuring events stay within financial guidelines.
-
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Inland Empire area is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
