Job Title: Family Services Assistant (FSA)
Company: YMCA of Metro Atlanta
Description: Under the direction of the Center Director, the Family Services Assistant (FSA) will be responsible for administering and evaluating services to children and families. You will play a vital role in implementing the YMCA's Early Learning Family Services program and ensuring the well-being of children and families.
Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Coordinate and support the delivery of comprehensive family services in Health, Nutrition, Social Services, Eligibility and Education.
- Serve as a family advocate to support family well-being and promote children's learning and development.
- Maintain required documentation for various programs and agencies.
- Recruit eligible children and assist with registrations.
- Develop intervention strategies to improve attendance and regularity.
- Make referrals for children with disabilities.
- Identify family needs, interests, and resources for well-being.
- Establish community partnerships and serve as a parent liaison.
- Support health screenings, medical appointments, and treatment plans.
- Participate in agency-wide projects and training programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or certification in a related field.
- Experience in case management and family engagement.
- Valid Driver's License.
Ergonomics: Sitting, bending, standing, and verbal communications.
