Job Summary: This role will oversee the financial reporting functions of the company, handling internal and external reporting requirements. Responsibilities include supporting monthly and quarterly reporting, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with SEC filings. The position will also act as a liaison with external auditors to facilitate timely submission of financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports
  • Create monthly flash reports and financial performance write-ups
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and provide US GAAP interpretation
  • Communicate accounting issues to management
  • Coordinate external audit activities
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies
  • Improve financial reporting processes
  • Support month-end and year-end closing
  • Contribute to due diligence and purchase accounting activities
  • Assist in treasury functions

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • 7-10 years of experience in Public Accounting or corporate reporting
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Experience in the airline industry is a plus

Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other office tools
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to multitask and deliver accurate results
  • Consideration of business and financial implications
  • High level of confidentiality

Physical Requirements:
  • Repetitive hand and arm movements
  • Occasional lifting up to 30lbs
