Description:This position would be a part of the Production Planning and Control organization as an inventory control and material handling associate responsible for kitting hardware and preparing it for use on the production line, monitoring floor stock levels and ordering and placing replenishment stock, proper handling inventory containers to include empty ones that are recycled back to the supplier, packaging, and shipment preparation of inventory that is required to ship from the site and other duties as assigned. This is a full-time position working within one of the production buildings on site.


Responsibilities may require working outdoors occasionally during the preparation of material for transportation pickup and may entail long periods of standing/walking and require specialized conductive footwear.

The operation of a forklift will also be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team
  • Experience/proficiency in desktop computing applications
  • Ability to be certified to operate a forklift
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work alternate shifts and overtime hours as required
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance and must have a final secret clearance prior to starting.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted
  • Clearance Investigation/Reinvestigation completed within the past 5 years
  • **Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" "of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in the revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge and understanding of inventory control practices
  • Inventory Control and Material Handling experience to include experience using a pallet jack, powered industrial truck/forklift, supply carts, lifting technique, part accountability, and record keeping.
  • Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing operations experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
