The Entry-Level Electrical Engineer will assist in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various building projects. This role involves collaborating with senior engineers and other team members to produce high-quality designs and documentation using Revit and other design tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and a keen interest in building systems design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and layout of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for MEP projects.
  • Develop and update electrical drawings and models using Revit.
  • Perform electrical load calculations, circuiting, and sizing of electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and verify existing conditions.
  • Assist in preparing technical specifications, reports, and documentation.
  • Support the coordination and review of project submittals and shop drawings.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on electrical design issues.
  • Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on MEP design.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IES).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
