Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to join our team at Hire Military Talent. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing instrumentation and electrical engineering services to support our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, estimate, and implement projects to improve instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Provide technical support for day-to-day maintenance activities and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Collaborate with process control engineers, process engineers, and production team members to identify and implement new instrumentation and control strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date design drawings and instrumentation specifications.
  • Supervise work of contractors and ensure compliance with plant HSE standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Communicate changes in standards (NEC, OSHA, IEEE, etc.) that affect plant practices and equipment.

Requirements:

  • B.S. Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment with instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Experience with NFPA 70E work practices and ARC Flash methodology.
