About Brooke

Brooke Charter Schools opened as a single middle school in 2002 and has since grown to be a network of three K-8 schools and one high school, serving approximately 2,200 students from Boston and Chelsea. Our mission is to provide an academically rigorous education that will ensure our students are prepared to succeed in college. Because we know great teaching is the primary driver of student achievement, we focus our energy and resources on creating schools where great teaching can thrive. Brooke students' results have consistently ranked our schools among the top schools in Boston and have frequently ranked us among the top in the state, as measured by MCAS achievement.

Brooke High School was founded in 2016 and serves approximately 550 students. Our high school students, 95% of whom identify as Black and Latinx, all previously attended one of our three Brooke K-8 campuses.
