Position Overview:

The Enterprise Growth Director for Core Datacenter Technology is a new role at Pure Storage.

In this role, you will act as the "General Manager" – from strategy to business plan to OKRs to execution – for Pure Storage in the AI market.

This begins with understanding what it takes to win your target market – both on the product strategy and go to market fronts.

You will be able to see market trends, anticipate customer's technology needs, deeply understand your competitions' technical and business strategies, create go-to-market business plans that encompass all potential commercial routes to market (direct sales, channel sales, technology solutions, OEM, etc) and drive the successful execution of these plans across the organization.


In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide enterprise growth programs from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds.

You can break down complex problems into steps that drive business plan development and execution.

You'll will work closely with inbound product management, alliances, solutions, sales, marketing, finance and other business functions where needed to design and develop technologies that complement Pure's entire portfolio and integrate with all solutions and use cases that will ensure sales velocity that take Pure Storage to the leading position in your defined domain.

You and your team will be responsible for guiding the enterprise business throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our offerings to our users.


You will play a pivotal role as the technical/domain expert who manages the external messaging for the product, related solutions, and competitive differences.

You will be a thought leader for the future of the datacenter. You will be responsible for developing and executing all go-to-market activities that drive business performance and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will be creating and driving a customer first approach to innovating ahead of their requirements.

This not only includes product technologies but also identifying all opportunities to capture incremental revenue growth through new use cases, new value propositions, new paths to market, or new acquisition models.

You must intuitively anticipate customer needs before they arise, you will be able to go beyond standard market research to predict where the market is trending and where future opportunities for innovation lie.

You will be a key driver of the NPI process for our core datacenter growth solutions.

As such, you will help scale product, solutions and alliance go to market growth strategies from the ground-up, organize launches, and create a repeatable go-to-market process.

This work requires strong cross-functional collaboration from start to finish with nearly every part of Pure's business units including product, sales, marketing operations & finance teams to build a holistic business and go-to-market plan that will deliver on both near term and long-term growth goals.


Responsibilities:
Define and achieve business OKRs including top line growth, market share, offering pricing and contribution margin

Drive a cross functional team across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT and Operations to achieve business OKRs.

Be a trusted advisor for large/strategic customers, build and maintain excellent customer relationships.

Gather customer insights and feedback, and infuse the learning back into the organization and product area roadmap, ensuring effective product launches and differentiated features.

Identify technology-driven strategies for customers and partner success and operational efficiency.

Drive alignment across Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing functions to deliver solutions for the customer. Provide our direct and channel sales functions with the tools and insights required for success.

Be responsible for all Go-to-Market coordination and successful execution of plan.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in outbound product management or related technical/product roles (15+ for the leaders of each growth area)


Experience operating in a hyper-growth/entrepreneurial environment, scaling new and emerging products from the ground-up, and translating commercial business models/needs into technical solutions.


Experience working in an enterprise technology setting, with expertise in Infrastructure software/SaaS, and understanding of the data storage/management market as well as competitive dynamics/customer adoption behavior.

Experience operating in a global role or on a global scale.

Excellent narrative and storytelling skills that propel usage, adoption, and market momentum.


As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week.

As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Pay Range:
