0 FTE for the School YearUnder the direction of a school psychologist, the psychometrist is responsible for the administration and scoring of psychological, social/behavioral/emotional, adaptive and cognitive assessments. They may aid in collection of developmental history, medical information and educational data. The Psychometrist may administer and score standardized assessments.

They may be a part of the Student Intervention Team with a focus toward developing evidence-based interventions and helping teams monitor student progress and analyze data regarding student growth.

The Psychometrist will be a part of the evaluation process and data gathering but will not be making determinations of special education eligibility or recommending areas of specially designed instruction.

They will be provided a case load each month and will be assigned assessments to administerRESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Gather and report on a student's current educational status; for example grades, test scores, disciplinary referrals or other pertinent information for an educational evaluation.

Send rating scales to teachers and parents using assessment platforms not limited to:
Q Global, Riverside or Pearson Assessments.
Administer, score and summarize assessment results for standardized assessments such as academic or cognitive measures.
Complete curriculum based measures as needed to help inform recommendations on eligibility and potential IEP goals.
Complete observations that would be targeted toward data collection and development of goals or behavior plans.

Attend Student Intervention Support meetings and Student of Concern meetings and act as a collaborator on Tier 1 and 2 interventions that could assist students.

Help Student Intervention Teams develop evidence based interventions and collaborate on data collection and progress monitoring.
Provide input into a student's special education eligibility to Psychologist.
Provide input into areas of potential specially designed instruction for a student.
Work within tight legal timelines and provide information at least one week prior to any deadline.
Meet with Psychologist regularly to discuss cases and prioritize work.

Qualifications:

Post bachelor's education in the administration, scoring and analysis of standardized assessments in the areas of cognition, academics, social, behavior, emotional and adaptive skills.

Experience working with educational teams on decision making for students.

Experience analyzing and reporting on student data such as Smarter Balance Assessments, MAP scores and other benchmark tests used in educational settings.
