Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychometrist to join our team at the Dieringer School District. As a key member of our educational assessment team, you will be responsible for administering and scoring psychological, social/behavioral/emotional, adaptive, and cognitive assessments. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping us develop evidence-based interventions and monitor student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment Administration and Scoring: Administer and score standardized assessments, including academic and cognitive measures, to help inform recommendations on eligibility and potential IEP goals.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and report on student data, including grades, test scores, and disciplinary referrals, to support educational evaluations.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with educational teams to develop evidence-based interventions and collaborate on data collection and progress monitoring.
  4. Student Support: Provide input into a student's special education eligibility and potential specially designed instruction, working closely with the school psychologist.
  5. Timely Reporting: Work within tight legal timelines to provide information and support to students, families, and educational teams.
Qualifications
  • Post-Bachelor's Education: A post-bachelor's education in the administration, scoring, and analysis of standardized assessments in areas such as cognition, academics, social, behavior, emotional, and adaptive skills.
  • Experience: Experience working with educational teams on decision-making for students, analyzing and reporting on student data, and administering and scoring assessments.
  • Certifications and Clearances: ESA certificate with endorsement in school psychometrist, OSPI fingerprint clearance, and familiarity with state and federal law regarding education for students with disabilities.
