Position Overview:
The Dieringer School District is seeking a dedicated School Psychometrist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the psychological and educational assessments for students across grades PK-8.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and evaluate psychological, social, behavioral, emotional, adaptive, and cognitive assessments under the guidance of a school psychologist.
  • Assist in gathering developmental history, medical information, and educational data to support comprehensive evaluations.
  • Participate in the Student Intervention Team, focusing on the development of evidence-based interventions and monitoring student progress.
  • Provide insights into special education eligibility and potential areas for specially designed instruction.
  • Manage a monthly caseload, administering assigned assessments and reporting findings.

Specific Duties:
  • Collect and report on students' educational status, including grades, test scores, and other relevant information.
  • Utilize assessment platforms to send rating scales to educators and parents.
  • Administer and summarize results from standardized assessments, including academic and cognitive measures.
  • Conduct observations to aid in data collection and goal development.
  • Collaborate in Student Intervention Support meetings to contribute to Tier 1 and 2 interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal timelines and provide necessary information promptly.
  • Regularly meet with the school psychologist to discuss cases and prioritize responsibilities.

Qualifications:
  • Post-bachelor's education in the administration and analysis of standardized assessments.
  • Experience collaborating with educational teams for student decision-making.
  • Proficient in analyzing and reporting student data from various assessments.
  • ESA certificate with endorsement in school psychometrist.
  • Familiarity with curriculum areas and state/federal laws regarding education for students with disabilities.
  • Experience working with children with diverse disabilities and designing appropriate services.
  • OSPI fingerprint clearance.
