Job Description:

As a team leader, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, assign work, manage schedules and operating costs. You will give guidance to your team following established policies and procedures. Be hands-on in monitoring operations and provide support as needed. Execute department procedures and ensure projects are completed on time according to set schedules.

Policy management:

Administer and execute policies affecting subordinate employees, monitor daily operations, and ensure project completion following established procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Attach a resume
  • AA degree with 5 years of shipbuilding or heavy industry experience -or- BS in a technical field with 4 years of experience -or- MS in a technical field with 2 years of experience -or- 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience in Cost and Schedule accountability, organization, and ability to read blueprints
  • Basic computer skills required
  • Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work any shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Construction experience in a marine setting is preferred.
