The HR Generalist will be responsible for acting as a trusted advisor to employees in areas such as employee relations; staffing; and training & development.

In addition, the HR Generalist will support our safety program and be a guardian of our culture, which enables great teams.

DutiesDevelop & coordinate a cost-effective and timely recruiting program to include sourcing, screening and hiring non-exempt employees.

Program must be aligned with business objectives using effective and innovative recruitment sources that ensures we attract a diverse pool of candidatesPartner with leaders to provide employee training, including new hire orientationManage all documentation processes related to employee files, safety, talent acquisition, and engagement.

Maintain employee data in HRIS ensuring 100% data integrityExecute payroll administration & partner with Finance team to ensure complianceProvide proactive employee relations to first-line supervisors in PRT& MyTana.

Coach team members on conflict resolution, disciplinary steps, setting objectives, performance management, and effective team leading skills.
Coordinate and manage benefits plans; annual benefits open enrollment, and issue resolution.
Develop, implement and maintain required regulatory reporting; AAP, EEO, VETS, OSHA, etc.

Communicate to management team, highlighting HR metrics and their impact on the businessEnsure organizational compliance with labor laws including but not limited to DOL and EEOCPartner with employees and leaders to communicate policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations as neededManage and maintain all workers comp, FMLA, and disability claimsMaintain and coordinate employee recognition programs and eventsComplete other projects & assignments as requiredQualificationsBachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or equivalent experience required.1-3 years of HR experience minimumExperience with HRIS (Workday preferred)Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesStrong interpersonal skills with customer service orientationExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to and experience with working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and remaining flexibleAbility to take initiative and work autonomously, while remaining aligned to business prioritiesMust be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgmentPossess excellent communication and critical thinking skills; and an entrepreneurial mindsetEmployee relations/union relations experience in a manufacturing setting preferredAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?IDEX is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Affirmative Action Employer.
