_What you'll do:
_


  • Perform enrollment and billing functions in accordance with DHA's guidelines including completing member enrollments and account updates via various methods of contact.
  • Perform accurate collection and processing of premium payments, create and issue invoices.
  • Receive inbound telephone calls and make outbound calls to other insurance carriers and external vendors in order to verify other health insurance.
  • Coordinate the issuance of OHI surveys to the entire USFHP population and enter collected responses into the appropriate system(s).
  • Conduct testing and recommend changes to processes to promote efficiency within the department.
  • Access various systems including, but not limited to, the Department of Defense's DEERS portal, HealthSuite, CCD, Epic, and others as identified.

_What you'll bring:
_


  • 2+ years' managed care, health insurance, medical office or related experience in an office setting, preferably in an enrollment and/or billing role.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to acquire Common Access Card (CAC) which is issued by the Department of Defense
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills necessary to interact with a diverse patient population, providers and staff.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting functions as well as Microsoft Office; including Word, Access, and Excel, and the ability to create and maintain reports.
