Rainier Industries, a manufacturing organization with a long, established history, is looking for an Entry Level Inventory and Packaging Specialist to join our Rainier Tent team. Our team creates tents and fabric structures of any size and shape. We have designed, engineered, and fabricated structures for clients in a wide range of industries since 1896.
As the Inventory and Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our inventory and packaging processes for our tent products. In this role, you will service and maintain accurate inventory levels to fulfill our customer needs, this will include inspection of inventory and packaging to assure our quality is maintained throughout the entire process.
You will work independently daily, if you are someone who takes initiative, can manage your workload, and can proactively solve problems under limited supervision we invite you to apply
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- One year of relevant experience in inventory control, shipping, receiving and/or packaging in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Skilled in time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Skilled in good oral, written and interpersonal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50lbs.
This is an hourly position eligible for overtime. Starting pay is between $18-$23.50 per hour.
